I bought my first black leather biker jacked back in 1991. I believe it was only $199. Regardless I put it on layaway and paid $50 a month for 4 months. I was in my mid-20s and didn't have a lot of money. Also, not putting it on my credit card saved me on the interest. 

I was excited when it was paid off and I was able to take it home. It looked great and made me feel incredible. I was living in an old stick and prick apartment in Uptown and loved walking around the neighborhood.

My First Leather Jacket

I got my first leather jacket way back when when I was about 6 years old. It was a varsity jacket it and the body of it was a medium brown suede and the arms were black leather. Could find a picture online to fit that description but the photo above, which I gound on Amazon, at least has the black sleeves. I remember talking a walk down to Minnehaha Creek with Mom, Dad, and Sam when I was about 6 years old. It was in the early autumn if I remember correctly which is just about my favorite time of year tied with early summer. There's a picture somewhere in the 10's of thousands of pictures I have stored on my computer. I remember feeling rather tough when I wore it which was very appealing to me.
